A
framework for documentation and evaluation of sustainable land management (SLM)
WOCAT has developed three questionnaires to analyse and evaluate SLM:
- Questionnaires on SLM Technologies (QT): addresses the following questions: what are the specifications of the Technology, and where is it used (natural and human environment), what impact does it have.
- Questionnaires on SLM Approaches (QA): addresses the questions of how implementation was achieved and who achieved it.
- Questionnaires on SLM Mapping (QM): evaluates what type of land degradation is actually happening where and why and what is done about it in terms of SLM.
The questionnaires on SLM Technologies and SLM Approaches can be presented in different standardized WOCAT ouput formats.
